Wow! This is best news I've heard for a long time -- I can only hope and pray that this time it's the real thing.

The article sounds very hopeful and is also very balanced which is a nice change as well. I've been reading more and more "balanced" reporting on the Cyprus Issue for a while now, it must mean that times-are-a-changing.

For example, it writes "The Greek and Turkish Cypriots have been divided since 1974, when Turkey sent troops into the north, after a coup by Greek Cypriots who wanted union with Greece." -- usually, you just hear about those "Terrible Turks" who invaded the island for "no apparent reason".
