I`m new to this site so not sure exactly what it`s all about yet, but anyway, i want some legal advice on Turkish title deeds, not the usual stuff but in particular to my situation. I have bought a couple of "off plan" villas a few years ago , i was told they had written guaranteed title deeds, the properties are advertised on one of the web sites under "pre 74 title deeds"
I have asked my developer Aston Lloyd to send me confirmation of the title deeds before i pay the first stage payment on the building work, which starts in September 09.
I feel i am being fed a load of bull, as they say they need to clarify the point with there solicitors, as to which exactly title deeds they are. They say they are TRNC deeds but that does not mean anything at the moment.
Should i refuse to pay the stage payment costs until this matter is settled?????
Also anyone else got a similar problem , any one dealing with Aston Lloyd ??? or having a villa built at "The Colony" Bogaz, if so please get in touch. Any help legal or otherwise would be very appreciated.

The coordination of investors who are facing the total loss of their investment (we are about 15 for The Colony, over 25 for other Aston Lloyd projects) is crucial if we want to take common steps to protect our interest!
